On March 1st, 2026, PISCO’s engineering team officially commenced maintenance, testing, and calibration works at ST1 Substation, marking another important milestone in our early-year technical operations.

At ST1, our scope of work focused on ensuring the stability, safety, and optimal performance of the MV switchgear system, including:

• Comprehensive inspection and maintenance of Medium Voltage switchgear

• Functional testing and calibration of protection relays

• Circuit breaker inspection and operational testing

• Verification of control and interlocking systems

• Strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures throughout the process

Every step was executed in accordance with standardized technical protocols to guarantee system reliability and minimize operational risks.
